Anime AI Generator ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by NEXAPIONEER LLC, is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to all users of the Service worldwide, including those in the European Economic Area ("EEA") and California.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect:

Your email address
Your chosen display name (if applicable)
The date your account was created

We do not collect your name, phone number, or postal address unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting support.

1.2 Payment Information

Subscription and credit-pack payments are processed by Creem, our third-party payment processor and merchant of record. When you subscribe or buy credits, Creem collects and processes your payment card details and billing information directly. We receive only a transaction confirmation, a customer identifier, and the details of the plan or pack you purchased. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

1.3 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including:

Text prompts you submit
Art styles and settings you select
Images and videos you generate
Generation timestamps and counts
Feature interactions and navigation paths within the platform

1.4 Generated Content

The images and videos you generate are stored on our infrastructure so we can deliver them to you and allow you to retrieve them within your account. We do not use your Generated Content in advertising or sell it to third parties.

1.5 Technical and Device Data

We automatically collect:

IP address
Browser type and version
Operating system
Referring URLs
Pages viewed and time spent

This data is used for security monitoring, infrastructure optimization, and aggregate analytics.

1.6 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

Strictly necessary cookies — keep you logged in to your account (session cookies) and secure the Service
Preference cookies — remember your settings, such as language and interface choices
Analytics cookies — help us understand how users navigate the Service so we can improve it
Security cookies — help us detect and prevent fraud and abuse
Advertising cookies — see Section 4.8 below; these are only used if and when we serve ads

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and — where a consent banner is shown — through the consent choices offered there. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the Service will not work without them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Process your subscription and credit-pack purchases through Creem
Deliver the images and videos you generate
Respond to your support requests
Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, purchase receipts, credit-balance alerts)
Monitor and enforce compliance with our Terms of Service
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse
Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the Service and AI model quality
Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. If we serve advertising in the future, any use of cookies or similar technologies for that purpose is described in Section 4.8 and, where required, will be subject to your consent.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)

If you are located in the EEA, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide you with the Service you purchased (account management, payment, content delivery).
Legitimate interests: Fraud prevention, security monitoring, and service improvement, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable laws, including tax and financial recordkeeping requirements.
Consent: Where we rely on consent (e.g., optional marketing communications), you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of third-party providers, each bound by appropriate data processing agreements:

4.1 Payment Processing — Creem

Creem processes subscription and credit-pack payments as our merchant of record. Your payment card data is handled directly by Creem under their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance obligations.

4.2 Authentication and Database

We use a third-party authentication and database provider (Supabase) to register accounts, sign you in, and securely store your account data. This provider processes your email address, login credentials, and account records on our behalf.

4.3 Hosting and Infrastructure — Vercel

Our web application is deployed on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may process your IP address and request data as part of serving the application.

4.4 AI Models Used to Generate Images and Videos

The image and video generation features of the Service are powered by AI models operated by third-party providers and accessed through our AI infrastructure partner. Specifically, still images are generated with GPT Image 2 (text-to-image and image-to-image), and short video clips are generated with Seedance 2 (text-to-video and image-to-video). Additional or successor models may be used as the Service evolves; the models currently in use are also described on our website.

To produce output, your text prompts, any reference images you upload, and your selected parameters (such as style, aspect ratio and duration) are transmitted to these providers. We maintain data processing terms with these providers that limit their use of your data. Anime AI Generator is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these model providers.

4.5 Email Delivery

We use a third-party transactional email service to send account- and purchase-related emails.

4.6 Cloud Storage and CDN

Your Generated Content and uploaded reference images are stored using a third-party cloud object-storage and content-delivery service (Cloudflare R2) so that images and videos can be stored and delivered to you reliably.

4.7 Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service. Where used, these tools may set analytics cookies and process technical data such as your IP address, device, and pages viewed. Where required by law, analytics that are not strictly necessary are only enabled with your consent.

4.8 Advertising Cookies and Third-Party Ad Partners

We do not currently rely on advertising to fund the Service. If we serve ads in the future, we may use Google and other advertising partners, which may set third-party advertising cookies or use similar technologies on your device. In that case:

Personalized ads use cookies and identifiers to show ads based on your interests and prior activity. In regions where consent is required, personalized advertising cookies are only set after you opt in.
Non-personalized ads are based on general, non-personal signals such as the content of the page and coarse location, rather than your past behavior.
You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through the consent banner (where shown), your Google Ads settings at adssettings.google.com, and industry opt-out tools such as youradchoices.com and youronlinechoices.eu.

If and when advertising is introduced, this section and our cookie disclosures will be updated to identify the specific ad partners in use.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, non-essential cookies and similar technologies (including analytics and any advertising cookies) are governed by a consent management platform. You will be asked for your choices before such cookies are set, and you can review or change your consent at any time through the cookie-settings control on the site.

4.10 Content Moderation

To keep the Service safe and policy-compliant, every text prompt submitted for image or video generation is screened by an automated content-moderation service (provided by Creem, our merchant of record) before any generation takes place. This means your prompt text is transmitted to that moderation service to obtain a policy decision. Prompts — and uploaded reference images — that request or contain NSFW, sexual, or otherwise prohibited content are blocked and are not sent to the generation models. See our Terms of Service for the full list of prohibited content.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:

Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days after deletion, to allow for error recovery.
Generated content: Stored for as long as your account is active. Content may be deleted after extended inactivity or upon account deletion.
Payment records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.
Usage and technical logs: Retained for up to 12 months for security and analytics purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

Encryption of data in transit using TLS
Encryption of sensitive data at rest
Access controls limiting which personnel can access user data
Regular security reviews

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to promptly addressing any suspected data breach and notifying affected users as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

7.1 All Users

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
Data portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.

In addition to the above, you have the right to:

Object to processing based on legitimate interests
Restrict processing in certain circumstances

7.3 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly. 9. International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be transferred internationally. Where we transfer data from the EEA to countries that have not been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service. The updated policy will state its effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
