Anime PFP & Avatar Generator

Anime PFP & Avatar Generator: Make an Original Profile Picture

Describe a character and the AI draws a brand-new anime pfp or avatar — square and built for circular crops (ask for a centred portrait for the most reliable crop). Pick one of 15 art styles, from shoujo and chibi to pixel art and noir, and download the result for your Discord, X, Twitch or game profile.

What it is

Anime PFP and Anime Avatar: Same Job, Same Tool

An anime pfp (profile picture) and an anime avatar are the same thing in practice: a small square image that stands in for you on a profile, server, stream or game. This generator makes them from a written description, so the character is original — it is not a copy of a real person or of an existing show.

Profile pictures:Discord, X, Twitch, YouTube and community profiles all crop to a square or circle, so a 1:1 image works almost everywhere.
Game and community avatars:Guild crests, clan icons, forum avatars and in-game portraits benefit from a bold silhouette and one clear expression.
VTuber and character concepts:Use a generated avatar as a starting concept for a streamer persona or an original character, then refine it with new prompts.
Original characters only:Every image comes from your text prompt. Describe a fictional adult character, a creature or a mascot — not a named celebrity or a copyrighted character.

Aesthetic Anime PFP: How to Stand Out on Discord, X and Twitch

Profile pictures are shown tiny, often as a circle, so the image has to read at a glance.

Centre the face or focal point.Circle crops cut the corners. Ask for "portrait, centred, head and shoulders" so the eyes and face sit in the middle.
Keep the silhouette bold.A strong hairstyle, hat, mask or creature outline stays recognisable even at 64 pixels.
Use a simple background.A flat colour or soft gradient keeps the character readable. Busy scenes turn into noise when the image shrinks.
Pick one mood. One expression and one colour palette — for example calm and teal, or fierce and red — make an avatar memorable.
Skip text.Lettering becomes unreadable at small sizes and is often garbled by image models. Add names in your platform instead.

How it works

How to Create an Anime PFP with AI

1

Describe the character

Write who or what it is, one defining detail (hair, mask, hat, tail) and the mood. Add "portrait, centred" so the face lands in the middle of the frame.

2

Choose a style and square format

Pick one of the 15 anime art styles and keep the aspect ratio at 1:1, the default for images.

3

Generate, download and crop

Download the image and upload it to your platform, which will crop it to a circle or square. Creator plans export HD without a watermark.

Reference images

Can I Make an Anime PFP from a Photo?

This page's generator works from a text description. If you have a design sheet, outfit or colour reference you want the character to follow, add it as a reference on a character in Storyboard mode: the AI uses it as guidance for style, colour and pose and generates a new image. Likeness may vary.

Only upload images you have the right to use, and describe original characters rather than existing ones.

Prompt craft

Anime PFP Prompts to Start From

“Original anime portrait, young adult woman with silver short hair and teal eyes, calm smile, head and shoulders, centred, soft pastel background”
“Anime avatar of a masked rooftop ninja at night, crescent moon behind, one glowing red eye, bold silhouette, dark blue background”
“Chibi fox spirit with nine fluffy tails, big amber eyes, sitting centred on a flat cream background, sticker style”
“Cyberpunk anime streamer avatar, adult character with neon pink headphones and a visor, rim lighting, centred portrait”
“Pixel art knight portrait, 16-bit style, helmet with a blue plume, plain dark background, limited colour palette”

Tips for better results

●

State "adult" for human characters, and describe fictional characters rather than real or copyrighted ones.

●

Name one colour palette. Avatars are remembered by colour first.

●

If the first result is cropped badly, add "centred, head and shoulders" and generate again.

●

Generate three or four variations of the same prompt and keep the one that still reads well when shrunk to a thumbnail.

FAQ

Not for this tool. Both are square profile images. Use the same generator and 1:1 format; the only difference is where you use the image.

Yes for personal use. Creator plans include commercial usage rights on content you generate, subject to the Terms; free-tier images are watermarked and for personal, non-commercial use.

Not directly. This page's generator creates a new original character from your text description and is not designed to reproduce a real person. Reference images are supported in Storyboard mode as guidance for style, colour and pose; likeness may vary.

Paid Creator plans export HD images with no watermark. Free images are standard quality with a watermark.

The Free plan includes 1 watermarked image. Creator Monthly is $12.99 and includes about 148–190 images, which works out to roughly $0.07–$0.09 per image (based on the plan's 4,000 monthly credits and the site's per-image credit cost).

Shoujo and Chibi give friendly, high-contrast faces; Pixel Art and Noir give a bold silhouette. Try two styles with the same prompt and compare them at thumbnail size.
